PHARMACEUTICALS

In the area of chronic medication, we focus on Non-Communicable Diseases.

One of the greatest challenges in healthcare in South Africa is securing a reliable supply of affordable medication, especially for individuals with chronic conditions.

As part of our total solution aimed at facilitating the delivery of quality healthcare for all, we collaborate with multinational pharmaceutical companies and the National Department of Health.

In collaboration with pharmaceutical companies, we partner in the areas of sales and marketing, continuous medical education, as well as customer development.

Our major collaboration with the National Department of Health is in stakeholder management and Section 21 medicines – where they rely on our ability to bring unregistered essential medicine that are out of stock.

One of the many benefits of this is that newer products can be made available in the public healthcare system and, equally, pharmaceutical companies have the opportunity to reach patients that would otherwise be hard to reach.

In the area of chronic medication, we focus on Non-Communicable Diseases.  Our long-term goal is to have our own products in this area, to enable local production.
